The basketball season tipped off Sunday night with the first official practices marking the debut of new head coach Tavis Turner for the boys’ varsity basketball team. Coach Tavis brings valuable experience from You Hoop and a strong background in private coaching with impressive athletes. While the team is sad to see Coach D step down, they are deeply grateful for everything he has done for the HBHA basketball program over the last nine years. Hopefully, Coach Tavis can meet the expectations Coach D set and change the team’s program for years to come.
