This week, let’s recap this week’s sports, but also the week before Thanksgiving break.
On Monday, November 24th, the Rams varsity teams traveled to Cristo Rey, where both squads dominated: The boys won by 64 and the girls won by 40. The next day, the teams headed to Midland to take on the Mustangs. Despite the strong efforts, both the boys and girls fell just short in close games.
This Tuesday, the Rams were scheduled to play at Guadalupe; however, snow conditions forced a cancellation. On Thursday, the Rams returned home and put on a show. The girls controlled a ten-point lead vs. Christ Prep for nearly the whole game, but ultimately came up just short. It was an impressive performance considering the fact that the girls were missing two starters, Gabby Sosland and Ruby Sokol.
The boys were matched up against Frontier STEM in their home return and made a strong statement. After leading by only four at the end of the first quarter, they quickly pulled away and secured a 43-point victory.
This Saturday night, the Rams will take on the Cristo Rey Pumas once again, as they hope to climb above the .500 mark!
